Volunteer-Tony-and-service-usersThe Drop-In centre continues its work for the homeless and vulnerably housed, and during these winter months we have about 70 people at each of the twice-weekly sessions. The close working relationship between Faith in Action and the Merton Winter Night Shelters means that the majority of those taking up places are referrals from the Drop-In.

As well as hot meals and showers, our services include internet access and help with finding accommodation and a job.

The photo shows shows volunteer Tony with service users. The board behind them shows that there’s a good lunch coming up: chicken or vegetarian casserole with rice, followed by apple crumble. We continue to have a good supply of chicken thanks to the generosity of Nandos.
