The Christmas spirit has been very much in evidence at the Drop-in.
Our service users enjoyed Christmas lunch on 15 December, with roast turkey and all the trimmings followed by Christmas pudding and custard (in the picture, right, served by volunteer Cathy).
The same day, everyone received a gift kindly donated by Morrison’s supermarket in Wimbledon.
Earlier, a team from South Western Railway delivered to the Drop-in all the gifts donated by members of the public in their annual Shoebox Appeal. In the picture below, Sara and Ben are busy sorting appeal donations to give to service users.
We’re really grateful to Morrison’s and South Western Railway for their generous support for homeless people in and around Merton.
