Wednesday 30 March saw Andy’s last day as Drop-in Manager, and an appreciative gathering of service users, staff, trustees, volunteers and supporters gave him a send-off to remember.
Merton Councillor Linda Kirby, co-founder of FiA and enthusiastic Friday washer-upper, led the glowing tributes to Andy’s remarkable service to countless local homeless people across 15 years.
Everyone at FiA wishes Andy a long and happy retirement.
