Thank you very much to all those who contributed to the cost of two new cookers in the Homeless Drop-In kitchen.

Special thanks to Revd Andrew Wakefield, the former Mayor of Merton David Chung, and Ursuline High School (see below).

We are also very grateful to Nandos on Wimbledon Broadway for their continuing donations of left-over chicken, which formed the basis of this meal.

Congratulations and thanks to Year 8 Teresa of Ursuline High School, who in May 2016 won a prize of £250 for the Faith in Action cooker appeal.

This was part of the Ursuline High School annual First Give Philanthropy competition, sponsored by First Give.  Each Year 8 class has a presentation from a local charity, studies the work of the charity and their needs, and then gives a presentation to a panel of judges including the Mayor of Merton.

Thank you also to the whole of Ursuline High School Year 8 for their previous generosity to Faith in Action. Caroline McColgan the Head of Year 8 reports that they raised £1200 for Faith in Action general funds at their 2015 Christmas Fair.
