The needs of the Merton homeless and vulnerably housed are as great as ever. About 65 people attend each Drop-In session, and about half of these are sleeping rough (fewer while the Winter Night Shelters are operating).

The Homeless Drop-In continues to provide for the basic needs of the homeless as well as helping them to move on.

Further help for service users in exploring education, training, volunteering and employment opportunities: Viv the New Opportunities Worker is engaging with the individual people in the Drop-In and their needs, building trusting relationships, and working alongside them to help them to achieve their desired goals. Thank you to the South Wimbledon Christmas Tree crowdfunding appeal: excess funds were donated to the local homeless via the Merton Faith in Action Homeless Drop-In.
