We rely on donations for so much of our work.

Can you help?

At the FiA Merton Homelessness Drop-in and Merton Winter Night Shelter we are very aware of the cost of living crisis that is impacting those most in need currently, we see it at every drop in session where we are supporting an average of 43 individuals, serving over 40 hot meals and providing access to specialist workers and support to help start the journey away from rough sleeping or vulnerable housing.

It goes without saying we couldn’t do any of this without the support of our army of amazing volunteers, (some of whom have been with us since day one) Our dedicated team and of course the help of our local community.

Over the course of this year we have seen more people needing our help whilst our resources have remained static, so once again we are appealing for your help if you can.

We are particularly in need off the following items:

  • Mens’ boxer shorts and socks
  • Mens T-Shirts and Polo Shirts
  • Mens shirts and trousers
  • Mens Shorts & Jeans
  • Disposable Razors and men’s toiletries
  • Soap Powder and Fabric Softener

Having served over 4200 meals last year alone and with the prospect of passing that this year, we are always in need of food donations, in particular:

  • Tinned pears, peaches and pineapple
  • Tinned custard and UHT milk
  • Fresh Fruit and vegetables

We are open every Wednesday and Friday from 10am until 14:30, though staff maybe on site outside of these hours on arrangement. Please email us at team@mertonfaithinaction.org or call us on 07834 280 419

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

The team.
